One thing's for sure - there are thousands if not milllions of travel websites out there on the internet.  It's tough to know where to start!

One of my favorites is www.travel.com - it's been around a long time, and isn't necessarily the cheapest place to buy travel, but goodness, so much information!  I particularly like the subsites aimed at travellers in different countries.
